Kraft Heinz recalls strained prunes due to possible presence of rubber

By The Canadian Press

Kraft Heinz Canada is recalling Heinz brand strained prunes due to the possible presence of pieces of rubber.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said Friday the nationwide recall was prompted by a consumer complaint.

The agency said the product came in a 128 ml container with a UPC code of 05753307 and an expiry date of June 10, 2017.

CFIA says the recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
