Man charged with ‘upskirt’ voyeurism at CNE

By News Staff

Toronto police have arrested a man who allegedly used a stuffed owl to secretly film women at the CNE.

Officers allege the man attended the Canadian National Exhibition with a white stuffed toy owl on Thursday. A camera was hidden inside the owl, and he used that camera to film up women’s skirts, police allege.

Daniel Adler, 28, was arrested that same day.

He is charged with secretly observing or recording a person expecting privacy, publishing or possessing obscene matter for distribution, and obstructing or resisting a peace officer.

During a court appearance on Monday, Adler was charged with an additional count of obstructing or resisting a peace officer.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
