OAKLAND, Calif. – Roots drummer Questlove is starting a new three-hour weekly show on the streaming music service Pandora that will feature music, interviews and conversations from the Grammy-winning musician.

Pandora announced the partnership on Wednesday and said “Questlove Supreme” will debut Sept. 7 on his new Pandora station. Guests include comedian Maya Rudolph, producer and engineer Bob Power, and musician Kimbra.

Questlove, who is the musical director of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” will also serve as a strategic adviser and the first artist ambassador for Pandora.

Pandora founder and CEO Tim Westergren said in a statement that the musician’s “near encyclopedic knowledge of the theory and history of music and his abiding passion for supporting artists of all kinds is a perfect match for our mission.”
