Video released after fatal hit-and-run in Vaughan

By News Staff

Police would like to talk to two drivers who were in the area of a fatal hit-and-run in Vaughan last week.

Adam Colucci, 35, died around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 8, a short time after he was found severely injured near Highway 7 and Keele Street.

It’s believed the Woodbridge man left the nearby Pinecrest Motel shortly before he was found on the highway. He was wearing a black T-shirt, dark-coloured jeans and light-coloured boots.

On Tuesday, police released surveillance video of a white pickup truck and white panel van that were in the area and said they might have seen the suspect’s vehicle.

Officers are asking the drivers to call them, while they also continue to urge the suspect to get a lawyer and surrender to police.
