Police investigating fatal hit-and-run on Vaughan highway

York regional police now believe a hit-and-run crash caused the death of a man on Highway 7 in Vaughan.
The body of the 35-year-old was found by a passing police officer, east of Creditstone Road around 11:20 p.m. on Monday.
Initially, it was not clear how the man died. Police said later on Tuesday they are now looking for the vehicle and the driver involved in what is believed to be a hit-and-run crash.
Investigators are asking anyone that has information, photos or video from the area in the moments leading up to this incident to contact police.
