One person trapped in vehicle after collision near The Queensway

A 17-year-old boy had life-threatening injuries after a collision near The Queensway and Park Lawn Road on Saturday night.

Officers and paramedics arrived on scene around 11:00 p.m. and said a vehicle went into a light pole.

According to police the boy was driving a 1997 Acura EL and lost control for reasons yet to be determined.

The northbound Park Lawn Road was close from Lake Shore Boulevard to the Gardiner Expressway.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
