Man shot in the arm in Scarborough

Toronto police are investigating after a man was shot in the arm in Scarborough.

The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was shot in the Eglinton Avenue East and Midland Avenue area just before 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police said he had been shot in the lobby of a building.

Initially, his injuries were considered serious but not life-threatening.  His injuries are now considered to be minor, police said on Thursday morning.

There’s no word on suspects.

However, police said a black sedan was seen leaving the area at the time of the shooting.
