Man dies after incident at Clarington water park

A man in his 20s has died after an incident at a water park in Clarington on Wednesday morning.
It happened at Cedar Park Resort around 9:30 a.m.
Durham police Sgt. Bill Calder said the man was working in a pool when he appeared to have a medical episode and went underwater.
“We just know he might have had a medical episode while in the pool and slipped under the water,” he said.
The man was unconscious and had no pulse when staff pulled him from the pool. They performed CPR until paramedics arrived. Unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead in hospital.
Police have not released his name.
