Gas prices expected to drop three cents at midnight

By Richard Southern

Brexit fear is back, sending stocks and the British pound lower, and it’s also going to make for a break at the pumps tonight.

Traders are once again concerned about the fallout from the British vote to leave the European Union and they have been selling risky assets which include oil.

It’s good news if you’re in need of a fill-up. EnPro thinks there could be a drop of about three cents a litre overnight in Toronto which would bring the average price down to 103.9 centre/litre.

The prices in Toronto and the GTA are 16 cents lower per litre than they were on this day a year ago.

The price of oil is at a one-week low.
