A 60-year old woman is due in court today, accused of attempted murder in an attack on a condo doorman.
Ellis Kirkland was arrested March 10 after a dramatic takedown on the 27th floor of a hotel near Yonge and Bloor.
The well-known executive and architect is accused of trying to kill the 67-year-old doorman by stabbing him multiple times with a kitchen knife.
She’s out on $120,000 bail and is undergoing medical and psychological treatment. Kirkland was deemed fit to stand trial by a judge last week.
Under the bail conditions, she’s not allowed to return to her condo where the doorman was stabbed.
