VICE Documentary explores ‘Dixon City Bloods’

A new documentary by VICE Canada is taking a closer look at reality in one of the city’s most notorious neighbourhoods.
Launched Tuesday, ‘This is Dixon’ explores the legitimacy of a police-alleged Toronto gang called the Dixon City Bloods and how the neighbourhood’s tainted reputation is impacting its youth and Somali population.
The documentary also explores what ties — if any — the alleged gang had to late former mayor Rob Ford, especially throughout the crack scandal.
