Elderly man struck and killed by car in North York

A pedestrian has been struck and killed by a car in North York Sunday night.

Police arrived on the scene of an accident at Avenue Road and Felbrigg Avenue just after 8:30 p.m. to find an elderly man without vital signs.

Both northbound and southbound lanes of Avenue Road from Brooke Avenue to Haddington Avenue were closed for several hours as police completed their investigation.
