Five people injured after multi-vehicle collision on QEW

Police are continuing to investigate after a multi-vehicle collision on the Queen Elizabeth Way, near Mississauga has resulted in five people being injured.
The collision occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, just west of Hurontario Street.
Police said one of the vehicles involved in the collision lost control, collided through the centre steel guide rail and entered into the opposite lanes on the QEW.
One person remains in critical condition and two other people have serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Two other people suffered minor injuries.
The left lane of the westbound and two left lanes on the eastbound QEW remain closed for repairs and cleanup.
