Drake’s new album, ‘Views’, is being hailed as an homage to the city of Toronto, with lyrics laced with local street names, landmarks and events.
But really, does it reflect the real Toronto, or just Drake’s vision of Toronto?
With a hat-tip to @MikeBeauvais, we’ve come up with some track titles that might better reflect what Toronto is all about.
1. Chewin’ Through A Green Bin
2. Tory Had Me Towed
3. Standin’ In Line at the IKEA (Sung to the tune of ‘Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta’)
4. The New @Norm
5. Started From The Bottom And We’re Still Here (Toronto Sports Anthem)
6. The P In DVP Stands For Parked
7. Friday Night at Hooker Harvey’s
8. Oh My G20
9. Scarborough Dude Without A Shirt On
10. Relief Line (Can’t Get No)
11. One Mil Won’t Get Me A Mortgage
12. And The Leafs Lost Again
13. Bloor Line Bling
14. Degrassi Street Blues
