The victim of an alleged kidnapping in Liberty Village has been located but police are still searching for suspects.

On Friday night, a man was assaulted near Hayden Avenue and Liberty Street West before being forced into the back of what’s believed to be a black Porsche Cayenne SUV.

Toronto police say the man was released by his captors around 11 p.m. Saturday.

The suspects are described as having olive skin and both are around six-feet tall. At the time of the incident they were wearing what appeared to be body armor and balaclavas and one of the two was said to be wearing an olive green shirt.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
