By News Staff

Peel police have released a composite sketch of a suspect being sought after a knife attack in Brampton last month.

Police say the suspect approached two teens as they were walking on the sidewalk at Mavis Road, south of Steeles Avenue on March 28.

For reasons unknown, the suspect slashed them with a knife.

“The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated and later released,” police said in a release.

The suspect is described as a black male, five foot ten, between 30 and 35 years old.

He has a medium build and was last seen wearing dark clothing.

Police say he is to be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, call police.
