Man has life-threatening burns after Eglinton and Laird explosion

The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a man suffered life-threatening burns in a workplace explosion.
Toronto police say the injured man was opening a boiler when the explosion occurred.
It happened at a commercial building on Wicksteed Avenue, near Eglinton Avenue and Laird Drive, around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, has been rushed to a Toronto hospital.
A second man was also injured. He had very minor burns on his arm, police say.
