Man dies following Scarborough hit-and-run last month

A man has died in hospital after a hit-and-run crash in Scarborough last month.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Milldock Drive, near Lawrence Avenue East and Rouge Hills Drive, around 11 p.m. on Jan. 28.
The man was found without vital signs and was revived by paramedics. He was rushed to hospital, where he died on Saturday. His name has not been released.
The man’s injuries were so severe officials initially believed he had been the victim of a hit-and-run but investigators say, so far, they have found no debris from a vehicle.
Last month, police said it was possible the man was beaten.
Police said Monday his death was considered a traffic fatality. However, police also said it was a “private property” fatality.
Police are still investigating.
