York regional police have released images of two suspects following a pair of bank robberies in Vaughan and King Township.
Just before 3 p.m. on Thursday police said two men entered a bank in the Weston and Rutherford roads area and passed a note to a teller demanding cash. Police said the note also indicated the suspects were armed. However, no weapon was seen.
The two suspects fled the scene on foot.
Police said two days later a similar robbery took place at a bank in the King Road and Keele Street area around 3:15 p.m. In this instance only one suspect was involved in the robbery.
The suspects are described as male, white, between 18 to 25 years of age, and were both wearing dark-coloured jackets and dark-coloured pants.
Police are asking anyone with information on the suspects or the robberies to contact the York regional police hold-up unit.
