“A triumph,” “a complete pleasure,” and even “the best movie of 2015.”

These are just some of the things critics are saying about the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, in the first reviews for the film.

Newspapers in the U.K. gave the film glowing reviews, with The Daily Telegraph and The Times each giving it five stars.

In her review, The Times‘ Kate Muir said “adults will be floored by tearful nostalgia because this is a classic.”

“A triumph of escapism and the most exhilarating film yet in this mighty franchise,” The Daily Mail‘s Brian Viner wrote.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Sun‘s Bruce Kirkland gave the movie 4.5 stars out of five, saying director J.J. Abrams has achieved the impossible with The Force Awakens, giving fans a worthy successor of Return of the Jedi.

The movie is expected to break box office records with projected profits exceeding $1 billion. It officially opens at midnight on Thursday.

Meanwhile, a take on the Star Wars theme is going viral.

The Roots, the house band on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, performed an a capella version of the score alongside actors and characters from the new film.
