An Ontario woman is facing three charges of animal cruelty after allegedly throwing three kittens out of a car window.

Haldimand County OPP say it happened on Sandusk Road, near Walpole Concession Road #13 in Hagersville (northeast of Port Dover), around 12:20 p.m. on Saturday. A person saw it happen and notified police.

Officers investigated and say three kittens had been “discarded.”

After a search of the area, they found two 10-week-old kittens. One was fine and the other had minor injuries, but the third was not found.

The two kittens are now being treated by the Hagersville Veterinary Services and will later be turned over to the Welland OSPCA (Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

Nicole Morrow, 31, has been charged with three counts of cruelty to animals.
