‘My whole family won’ great-grandfather says after $24 million lottery win

A great-grandfather plans to spread the wealth around after winning a $24-million Lotto 6/49 jackpot.
“I purchased the ticket but my whole family won,” Winston Parks said at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
He purchased his ticket for the Nov. 7 draw at a Petro Canada on Bayview Avenue. He actually won $24,518,434.50 and plans to share his prize.
“It makes me happy to make others happy,” the Toronto man said.
“I have lived a full life so this big win will give the people I love the opportunity to live full lives of their own.”
Winston added that he had a hard time believing he held the winning ticket: “I checked on my laptop and I checked on my desktop too. I also asked family members to come and see for themselves.”
Lotto 6/49 said that since the game was launched in June 1982, Ontario players haveg won more than $10.9 billion in prizes, including 1,316 jackpot wins.
