Two shooting victims take themselves to hospital

Two men took it upon themselves to get to hospital after separate shootings in Toronto.

In the first incident, a man walked into East General Hospital on Thursday night with a gunshot wound.

Police believe he was shot in a car on Gerrard Street East, near Coxwell Avenue, around 6:20 p.m. and somehow made his way to the hospital.

The victim’s injuries are serious, but non life-threatening. Police are now looking for the suspect.

The second shooting victim arrived at Humber River Hospital shortly after 1 a.m. on Friday.

He had been shot in the leg.

Police haven’t found the crime scene yet but the victim said it happened near Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue.

Police are investigating.
