Police looking for five drivers after cyclist killed in Brampton

Peel police are looking for five drivers after a cyclist was killed in Brampton last week and have released photos of their vehicles.

Police say the drivers may not have been aware of their involvement in the crash or they may have seen something that investigators need to know.

Hardeep Singh Pahra, 30, a married father of two, was killed on Thursday morning. Police say he had recently immigrated to Canada and was riding his bike to work at the time of the collision.

The crash happened in the five-minute window between 5:50 a.m. and 5:55 a.m., on Steeles Avenue west of Albion Road.

Police believe that after Pahra fell from his bike, he was run over by the rear wheels of a transport truck.

“Our investigators are appealing for the drivers of these trucks to please contact them in order to bring closure to the family of the victim of this tragic accident,” Staff Sgt. Gary Carty said in a statement.

“If you were in the area and are a professional trucker not associated to the described vehicles, we are anxious to hear from you as well.”

The photos can be seen below and on the website peelpolice.ca.
