Cyclist dies after being struck by two vehicles on Highway 27 in Etobicoke

A 56-year-old cyclist died at the scene after he was struck by two vehicles on Highway 27 near Vice Regent Boulevard in Etobicoke on Monday night around 6 p.m.

The cyclist was riding southbound when he was initially struck. He was thrown from his bike and then fell into the path of another vehicle.

Both drivers remained on scene.

Traffic Services is investigating. So far there’s no word on possible charges.

The immediate area was closed to traffic, but all lanes have since reopened.
