Woman charged with drunk driving in Mississauga crash

A woman has been charged with drunk driving after a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 401 in Mississauga.

Ontario provincial police say the vehicle went off the road and into the ditch along Highway 410, north of the 401, around midnight on Sunday.

Police say the driver was heading north when she lost control and went into the ditch on right-hand side of the road. The vehicle then rolled over.

Natasha Elliott, 24, of North York, has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, operating a vehicle with blood alcohol over the legal limit of 80 milligrams, and a third charge due to her driver’s license class. Novice drivers are not permitted to have any alcohol in their system. Elliot is charged with “Novice Driver – Blood Alcohol over Zero.”

No one was injured.
