Angry Tory, the Conservative supporter who gained fame on social media for his rant to reporters outside a Stephen Harper speech in Toronto last month, is back.
According to the Ottawa Citizen, he is an Uber X driver in Toronto.
On Wednesday, the Citizen’s election notebook, The Gargoyle, posted an Uber X receipt that identifies the driver as a man who looks strikingly similar to Earl Cowan.
The receipt was forwarded by a Torontonian who took a ride from the driver in July. The driver is identified as “Earl” on the receipt.
On Aug. 18, Cowan heckled journalists assembled outside a Stephen Harper campaign speech, accusing CTV reporter Laurie Graham of cheating on her taxes and being a “lying piece of sh*t.” before being led off by security. In 2014 he heckled mayoral candidate Olivia Chow, telling the Chinese-Canadian to “go back to China.”
At the Harper event, Cowan was sporting a Doug Ford pin on his beige blazer.
