Toronto police say a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl has turned himself in to police.
On Thursday morning, police issued an arrest warrant for Kurt Charles, 33. He surrendered to police just before noon.
Officers allege that the accused befriended the girl in the Jane Street and Grandravine Drive area, between August 2014 and August 2015. He then allegedly sexually assaulted her.
Charles is accused of forcible confinement, assault, three counts of sexual assault (on a person under 16 years of age), sexual interference, uttering threats, and invitation to sexual touching.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
Charles may also have been known as James Charles or Suie.
Police believe there may be other victims.
