Police release video of violent swarming at Oakville McDonald’s

Halton police have released video of a violent swarming at an Oakville McDonald’s last Friday that sent one person to hospital with head and facial injuries.

The video begins with two males attacking one of the victims outside of the McDonald’s at 2510 Hampshire Gate at around 4 a.m.

One of the suspects puts the male in a headlock while the other takes a few swats at him near the fast food restaurant’s side door. A third suspect enters the fray just as the camera catches another attack taking place nearby.

Police say the victims, two males and a female, all suffered non life-threatening injuries.

The suspects, five black males in their late teens or early 20s, all fled in a black Nissan Altima before police arrived.

In a release police said the vehicle was registered to a Mississauga resident, but haven’t named any suspects.

Update August 28, 2015: Halton police arrested five of six people wanted in this investigation. Because one of the five people arrested is under the age of 18, and cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the video of the attack has been removed from our website.
