Mississauga teacher charged with sexual assault

A 49-year-old Mississauga teacher is facing 10 charges after two female students reported being sexually assaulted over the past two years.

According to Toronto police, Chinedu Okoro, of Mississauga, has been charged with six counts of sexual assault and four counts of sexual exploitation.

Police say that between November 2014 and January 2015, and in July of 2015, Okoro sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman while he was an employee at the Emery Adult Learning Centre.

They allege that From July 6 to July 30 of this year he sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl during school hours.

Okoro was a teacher at C.W. Jefferys Collegiate Institute after leaving the Emery Adult Learning Centre.
