Police identify Mississauga man found dead behind strip mall

Homicide investigators in Peel region have released the identity of a 36-year-old man found dead behind a Mississauga strip mall on Friday.
Plice said they were called to the scene on Dundas Street West near Glen Erin Drive around 2:30 p.m. after receiving reports about an unconscious man.
When emergency crews arrived on scene they found William Marcel Maassen without vital signs. Paramedics said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
There has been no word on how Maassen died or the incident that lead to his death.
It’s the ninth homicide case in Peel region this year.
