Man in hospital after Brampton shooting

A man is fighting for his life after he was shot in Brampton late Tuesday night.
Peel police say he was shot once near Cottrelle Boulevard and Highway 50, north of Queen Street East, shortly after 11 p.m.
No arrests have been made.
Police are asking witnesses to come forward.
