Man rushed to hospital after Woodbridge industrial accident

A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after an industrial accident in Woodbridge.

It happened at a construction site near Highway 7 and Edgeley Boulevard around 7:25 a.m. Thursday, York police say.

Police say something, possibly a drill, fell 10 storeys, striking a worker on the ground.

The high-rise building is under construction.

The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
