An adorable snapshot of two dogs embracing each other has gone viral – something that may have helped save their lives.
The photo of Kala, an eight-month-old hound mix, and Keira, a one-year-old Boxer mix, was taken on Monday, just hours before the pair were scheduled to be euthanized at a Georgia shelter.
Angels Among Us Pet Rescue confirmed that just two hours after the original post on Facebook, Kala and Keira were saved and were driven by a volunteer to a veterinarian.
The dogs are now in foster care.
