Motorcyclist seriously injured in Oshawa crash

A 63-year-old man was seriously injured after his motorcycle collided with a pick-up truck in Oshawa on Thursday, Durham regional police say.

The collision occurred at Olive Avenue and Linden Street, near Harmony Road, around 6:30 a.m.

The motorcyclist, who is from Port Hope, was rushed to a local hospital and then airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre.

The pick-up truck driver, a 24-year-old man from Oshawa, was not injured.
