Woman in life-threatening condition after being struck in Etobicoke

A 33-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke on Tuesday afternoon.
Toronto paramedics said the incident happened just before 5:30 p.m. near Martin Grove Road and Steeles Avenue West.
The woman was trying to cross Martin Grove, south of Royalcrest Road, when she was struck by an Audi heading south on Martin Grove.
Police said the 21-year-old man who struck her stayed on the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
