The search for a 32-year-old Vaughan man is now a homicide investigation after his body was located on Friday.
Sina Parsi was last seen leaving a soccer game in the area of Teston Road and Highway 400 at around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police said his body was found in the Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue West area.
There has been no word on how he died.
Parsi is the city’s 23rd homicide of the year.
Police said Parsi left the soccer game in his black Dodge Ram truck and that money was taken out of his account several hours after he went missing.
His wallet and his truck were found Thursday afternoon in a parking lot on Jane Street north of St. Clair Avenue West.
Homicide investigators are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
