2 TTC steetcars collide at Queen & Church

A split switch sent a Queen streetcar off track at Church Street on Tuesday morning.
Just after 7 a.m. an eastbound streetcar veered slightly into the westbound lanes due a “split switch,” said TTC spokesperson Jessica Martin.
The streetcar grazed another one travelling in the opposite direction.
The streetcars have been cleared, but crews are still on the scene to monitor the switch.
The 501 Queen, 502 Downtowner, and 503 Kingston streetcar routes have returned to regular routes after diverting for most of the morning rush hour.
No injuries were been reported.
