Westbound Gardiner lanes reopen after construction

The City of Toronto says work on the Gardiner Expressway between Exhibition Place and Grand Magazine Street has finished sooner than expected.
That means the three westbound lanes of traffic have reopened.
An eastbound lane is expected to reopen next week.
However, because that construction has finished, the city will now re-institute the weekday closure of the ramp from westbound Lake Shore Boulevard to the Gardiner at Jameson Avenue.
The ramp will now be closed between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays.
