Justin Bieber accused of ‘viciously’ assaulting limo driver: lawsuit

A Toronto Uber limo driver is seeking over $850,000 in damages he claims he suffered after he was allegedly “viciously assaulted” by Justin Bieber.

A statement of claim filed on court on Friday states that an “unprovoked attack” by the Canadian pop star occurred at 2:15 a.m. on Dec. 30, 2013 after the driver, Abdul Mohar, was summoned through his Uber app to pick up a group of men outside the Time nightclub on Peter Street.

Mohar was instructed to drive the six men, including Bieber, now 21, in his limo SUV to the Hazelton Hotel in Yorkville. The driver said he was asked to play a CD provided to him and claims Bieber told him “loudly and aggressively” to “max out the volume.”

The driver said he played it as loudly as he thought he could but was told again by Bieber to turn it up.

Mohar refused, saying it would damage his speakers, and claimed that “suddenly without warning,” Bieber came from the back seat to turn up the volume himself.

According to the documents filed, Mohar said “please don’t do that,” and then, without any provocation or warning, Bieber punched him on the right cheek with a closed fist.

Mohar pulled over and, while he did so, he claimed that Bieber punched him four or five times in the back of the head.

Mohar said he suffered both physical and emotional injuries and asked the court for a restraining order against the singer.

This is not the only legal case pending for Bieber — he faces an assault trial in Stratford on July 14 after a collision between a mini-van and an ATV. Bieber was riding the ATV in his home town with Selena Gomez and claims the two were fleeing from paparazzi when the crash happened.
