RCMP make terrorism arrest in P.E.I.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have made a terrorism related arrest in Prince Edward Island.

RCMP officials told 680News Amir Raisolsadat was arrested after a peace bond was ordered.

 

Police are not providing any other facts about the arrest or the accusations facing Raisolsadat.

The RCMP said Raisolsadat has been released on conditions and will appear again in court on April 20.

Since the matter is now before the courts the RCMP said they will not be commenting any further on the matter.
