Woman wanted after Toronto hit-and-run caught on video

Police are searching for a 31-year-old woman after two men were struck by a truck in Toronto on Saturday afternoon.

Investigators say a Ford Edge was stopped on Dupont Street, near Lansdowne Avenue, when it was struck from behind by a black Sierra truck.

When the men inside the Ford Edge got out and asked the driver of the truck that allegedly hit them for insurance, she could not provide it.

The men then noticed that the truck did not have any licence plates.

The incident, which was caught on video, shows the driver of the Sierra putting the vehicle in reverse to get out of situation.

The men try to stop her from fleeing and in the process, were struck by the vehicle as it fled the scene.

After police checked with the registered owner of the vehicle, the owner informed them that the vehicle and keys were missing.

Police said the driver has been identified as Annatby (Anna) Ditthavong of no fixed address.

She is described as five-foot-two-inches tall, 97 pounds, with a a tan complexion and has long hair.

Ditthavong is wanted on six charges, including theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, and assault with a weapon.

Police are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact 11 Division.
