Jeffrey Orridge named new CFL commissioner

Jeffrey Orridge is the new commissioner of the Canadian Football League.
Orridge, who succeeded Scott Moore as executive director of CBC Sports in 2011, takes over from outgoing commissioner Mark Cohon.
Cohon spent eight years as commissioner before leaving the post in January.
Orridge was COO and head of global business development at non-profit organization Right To Play International prior to joining CBC.
He becomes the 13th commissioner in league history.
Orridge’s official start date is April 29.
