Suspect sought in more than 60 vehicle break-ins: Toronto police

Toronto police have released security camera images of a man they believe is behind more than 60 vehicle break-ins over the last few weeks.

Police allege the suspect broke into 11 underground parking garages in the area of Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue West and six near Victoria Park Avenue and Ellesmere Road, and stole some items.

The suspect is described as black and was wearing white running shoes and baggy blue jeans.

He has also been seen wearing a black, hooded North Face jacket, a blue hooded North Face jacket with a black stripe across the shoulders and a grey baseball hat with a dark-coloured brim with a sticker on the top of the brim.

Police said they received reports of an increased number of thefts from vehicles between Feb. 13 and Wednesday.
