2 men critically injured after crash near Hwy. 407 & Airport Rd. in Brampton

Two men are in critical condition after crash on Walker Drive near Hwy. 407 & Airport Rd. in Brampton, Peel police said.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Peel police said the crash involved a transport truck and a car.
“The two occupants of (the car) were trapped inside the vehicle,” Const. George Tudos said. “They both sustained life-threatening injuries.”
One of the injured males was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre. The other injured male was taken to a local Brampton hospital.
The driver of the truck was unharmed.
There has been no word on what caused the crash.
Roads in the area were closed but reopened just before 6 a.m.
