Police seeking citizen who stepped in to stop a sexual assault in Etobicoke

Police are hoping to speak with a female citizen who stepped in to stop a sexual assault in Etobicoke on Wednesday afternoon.
A 19-year-old woman was walking in the Lake Shore Boulevard and Islington Avenue area when a man grabbed her from behind and took her to a secluded place.
Police say he pulled a knife on the woman and sexually assaulted her.
The man fled when someone stepped in to interrupt the assault.
The man is described as having an olive complexion, about five-feet nine-inches with a stocky or chubby build. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie and dark blue jeans.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or call Crime Stoppers anonymously.
