Senior dies after being struck by car in December

A 77-year-old woman who was struck by a car while crossing Bathurst Street in December has died.
Police say shortly before 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 18 the woman was attempting to cross Bathurst near Steeles Avenue West when she was hit by a Mercedes.
The woman was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she later died.
Police say the 28-year-old driver remained on scene.
There has been no word on charges.
