Father, child injured when driver crashes into Vaughan bus shelter

Police in York Region have charged a driver who crashed into a bus shelter where a man and his eight-year-old son were standing.
An SUV veered off the road at Dufferin and Centre streets in Vaughan around 8:20 p.m.
The father is in hospital with a broken leg and will need surgery. The boy was treated for cuts to his arm and released.
A 45-year-old man was charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm.
