Man charged after women allegedly sexually assaulted after job interviews

Toronto police have charged a 41-year-old man on several counts for allegedly luring women to a meeting using a job ad and then sexually assaulting them.

Investigators say at least two women applied for a job through Kijiji for a company called “Corerite Salvage Logistics.”

The women were then asked to meet a representative of the company at a local coffee shop for the job interview.

Police say in one instance, the suspect used a 21-year-old woman’s address on her application to show up at her home, where she was attacked.

Police believe there may be more victims.

Randy Purves has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of an indecent act. He was due in court on Friday.
