Representatives for actress Jennifer Lawrence say they’ve contacted authorities after nude photos of the Hunger Games star began circulating online Sunday.
The photos are part of what’s believed to be a massive celebrity hack.
“The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence,” her publicist said in a written statement.
The Oscar-winning actress was not the only celebrity to have her photos appear online.
Scott Pilgrim vs The World star Mary E. Winstead took to Twitter to say that photos posted of her had deleted long ago and were taken by her husband.
To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves.

The photos first appeared on image sharing site 4Chan.
Other alleged victims include Kate Upton, Ariana Grande, Kirsten Dunst and Hope Solo.
According to the website Buzzfeed, the hacker claimed that the images were taken from stars’ smartphones through a glitch in Apple’s iCloud service.
